After years in foster care, Breanne Gallagher has the stable life she’s always wanted, living with her foster-sister, working as a chef, enjoying her comfortable routines. Then one devastating night, a hellish creature invades her apartment and shatters her fragile existence. Shifting between monster and man, it slaughters her foster sister and assaults Bree. Alone, wounded, her beloved home tainted by gruesome memories, Bree flees to a tiny wilderness town, following her only clue to her past.

Shapeshifting warriors, Zeb and Shay move from one pack to another, hunting the hellhounds which prey on their kind. Assigned to Cold Creek, they take over management of a decrepit fishing lodge for their “human” cover. Their first renter is a pretty human female who trembles at the sight of them—yet stands her ground. Furious at the hurt they see in her eyes, the protective nomads are drawn into helping her. Although no shapeshifter is ever attracted to a human, her scent is oddly compelling, and her ferocious determination to conquer her fears ignites longings neither loner ever expected to face.

Bree is healing, learning to shoot the biggest pistol she can find, and overcoming her fears, especially of the two deadly, disconcertingly attractive hunters. Her life is getting back on track…until she tries to save a little girl from a hellhound and discovers everything she knows about herself is false.

My Thoughts Green swirls

Winter Of The Wolf is book #2 in The Wild Hunt Legacy by Cherise Sinclair!

Wow! Another great one from a great author!

There are several things that have me reeling but at the same time how can I fault a book that I devoured in such a short time because the flow of the writing was soooooooooo  good? I could not put this book down. It was exciting from the very beginning to the very end and the characters are so wonderful. The waves of emotions that come with each chapter are so gripping that you feel like part of the cast. I loved it!

Breanne (Bree) is an awesome character and I can’t begin to tell you how much I love Shay & Zeb. I can almost say that Zeb is my favourite, but then again Shay is equally amazing but in a different way. I adore these wolves!

Characters from book 1 were there and played huge roles in the book and I love that! I love it when a series has original characters not only show up, but play huge parts because I get to dive into the world of new characters and yet keep my hands anchored on already well loved characters as their story continues. It’s heart-warming and gives that family stability feel.

Bears are up next!  Bear

In A Nutshell:

Once again Cherise Sinclair has made me ignore people, lose sleep, avoid chores and completely tune out the world around me because I’m lost in the wilderness somewhere chasing after shifters! It’s awesome! She has a knack with her dialogue and fluid writing style that’s gripping with every word and chapter. I love her!!! Bring on Eventide of the Bear!

About Cherise Sinclair

Having to wear glasses in elementary school can scar a person for life. Dubbed a nerd at an early age, Cherise Sinclair has been trying to live up to the stereotype ever since. And what better way than being an author?

Known for writing deeply emotional stories, the USA Today Bestselling Author has penned sixteen erotic romance novels, most with a BDSM theme. (Please do not mention the phrase mommy porn in her presence.) Her awards range from a National Leather Award to a Romantic Times Reviewer’s Choice nomination to a GoodReads BDSM group award for best author of the year. Called an “ascendant erotica queen” by Rolling Stone Magazine, Cherise spends her days writing, supervised by a sadistic calico cat.
