Series: The Phoenix Pack #7
Published by Montlake Romance on May 29, 2018
Genres: Adult, Romance, Paranormal
When half–wolf shifter Frankie Newman receives an e-mail from a family member she didn’t know existed, a secret is revealed: as a child, Frankie witnessed her father killing her mother…and then himself. Frankie was torn from her pack by her mother’s human relatives, and the trauma was erased from her memory. Realizing that she’s been lied to her entire life, she’s never felt more alone. Until she catches the scent of an old friend—warmly familiar and intoxicating.
Trick Hardy, alpha wolf of the Phoenix Pack, can sense the rush of mutual attraction when he sees Frankie again. He knows immediately that she’s his true mate. But he also knows that, given her fragile state, he needs to tread with care—no matter how fierce his surging desires.
As aroused as Frankie is by Trick’s darkly dominant air and simmering desire, her priority right now is her past—not her future, no matter how tempting. But as more secrets emerge and Frankie’s life is threatened, Trick must do everything he can to keep her close and safe. After all, it’s their destiny.
Wild Hunger is book #7 in The Phoenix Pack series by Suzanne Wright.
I am a huge fan of Suzanne Wright… this series and the Mercury Pack series in particular. Love me some shifter romance and suspense! I simply adore how Suzanne Wright spins a tale. Her writing flows so smoothly that it brings you right into the story. You don’t just read it, you feel, you see it and you hear it. It’s so enjoyable to read her characters because of her wicked sense of humour and how strong she writes all of her characters! I look forward to each and every new release.
Trick Hardy is one of the enforcers for the Phoenix Pack and this is his story of how he met his mate, Frankie! I really loved how this one panned out. Frankie had a hell of a shock when she was advised that she had family that she didn’t know about, but Trick was there for her and she’s just a great character. I love how she handled everything and I especially love how Suzanne brought art into it. She nailed it completely! Both the art pieces themselves and Frankie’s thought process going into each piece but also the fact that it’s not always an appreciated career path by others.
She brings it all once again!
