What if the characters in a vampire novel left their world--and came into yours? Amy is in love with someone who doesn't exist: Alexander Banks, the dashing hero in a popular series of vampire novels. Then one night, Amy meets a boy who bears an eerie resemblance to Alexander. In fact, he IS Alexander, who has escaped from the pages of the book and is in hot pursuit of a wicked vampire named Vigo. Together, Amy and Alexander set out to track Vigo and learn how and why Alexander crossed over. But when she and Alexander begin to fall for each other, Amy wonders if she even wants him to ever return to the realm of fiction.

My ThoughtsGreen swirlsThis book was good!  I enjoyed it a lot.  The thing that was so different is the story itself… the fact that a character in a book came to life for an avid reader.  How awesome is that?  I can’t tell you how many times I wished that Damon or Patch or any one of my favourite characters would come to life!   The sub-story was that he was a vampire hunter after a bad-ass vamp.   Brilliant idea for a book.  Just brilliant!

The characters were pretty brilliant as well.   Love Alexander!  He’s great.. and Amy.  Well, I haven’t seen quite such a strong character in awhile.  She was like an old soul in a 16 year old vessel.  Awesome character.  The secondary characters were pretty great too.

The cover… LOVE it!!!  That is a beautiful cover and will look amazing on my new floor to ceiling bookcase that hubby is building for me!  Can’t wait!  For now… it still looks good just sitting in the pile awaiting a shelf.
