Running for his life, he takes her along for the ride….
Werewolf Levi Harris has a habit of going off half-cocked and getting into trouble. But this time, the trouble just might prove fatal. He’s stolen a trove of information from a powerful vampire mafia network, and they won’t rest until they get it back—and get revenge. His only chance of survival is to extract the information and put it to use before the bad guys catch up with him.
Curvy bombshell Harper Bailey is a good girl with a weak spot for bad boys. When Levi appears, she thinks her dreams have just rolled up on the back of a motorcycle. Little does she know that he’s about to hijack her car and take her straight into the crossfire. But Levi himself might just prove the greatest danger of all….
This is going to be a very short and sweet review!
Taken (The Alpha’s Captive #1) by V. M. Black is a very short book and obviously a novella. There are 5 or 6 more books following that I haven’t read yet.
There isn’t much to say because it was such a short book, but yet I feel compelled to at least mention it in a review because although it was just a few chapters I’ve got to say V. M. Black packed quite a punch in those few pages. The story was very easy to read and very explosive. My attention was on point from word one and it’s just a very exciting story. I really can’t wait to get into the rest of the books.
There is instant attraction (not insta-love) between Levi and Harper and it’s very fun to read the bantering between the two. It’s hot and funny and exciting and some dangerous situations too. All kinds of stuff going on and my attention is piqued so I’ve got to continue with the rest of the story.
I’m really quite impressed! Just sayin’!
